Who we are
Yarnu is provided by Dora Software Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17482674), registered office 124-128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, England, UK. "We" and "us" in these terms mean Dora Software Ltd.
Using Yarnu
Yarnu makes up stories from your ideas using automated writing and voice technology. You need to be an adult to create an account, and you're responsible for what you ask for and for listening alongside your children.
Stories and characters
Yarnu writes original stories. It doesn't use characters owned by film, TV, book or game companies; if you ask for one, it invents an original character inspired by the idea instead. Stories are for your family's personal, non-commercial enjoyment.
Story lengths are approximate. A story you choose as about 10, 20 or 30 minutes long can run around 10% shorter or longer, so a 10-minute story may last roughly 9 to 11 minutes.
Keeping stories suitable
Every story is checked automatically before it is read aloud, and stories that don't meet our standards for children are stopped. Automated checks are not perfect: if something in a story isn't right, please report it from the story's page in the app (Report this story) or tell us at hello@getyarnu.com.
Free stories and Yarnu Pro
New accounts include a small number of free stories. Yarnu Pro is a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store, which includes a monthly allowance of stories. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in your app store, and refunds follow that store's policy. A story that fails before any of it can be played doesn't count towards your allowance.
Changes and availability
We may change or stop features, and will update these terms when we do. We provide Yarnu "as is" and, as far as the law allows, aren't liable for indirect losses.
